Here I am in my home in Puerto Rico, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, where my husband and I vacation twice a year.  If you know anything about Puerto Ricans, we are fiercely loyal to our island and its culture!

I am a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and received my teaching credential from National University.  I’ve been the Spanish teacher at Pleasant Grove since it opened in 2003.  I love Puerto Rico, but I expose my students to the cultures of Mexico, Spain, Ecuador, Costa Rica,  the Dominican Republic, and Argentina, as well.  I am passionate about Spanish, and teaching in general.  Of my four grown children, three are educators, so it’s apparently in our blood!
