2019-2020 Athletic Packet

• Cross Country will begin on Monday, August 26th.
  
• Practice will begin at 2:15 and end at 3:30
  
• Practice will be Monday-Thursday from 2:15-3:30.
  
• All meets are on Wednesdays with the exception of league finals, that is Tuesday October 15th.
  The race courses will average 1.5 miles in length. Busses will provide transportation to all away
  meets, however, return transportation is not provided. First meet is September 11th.

• Students must complete an athletic packet with a current physical and have a 2.0 GPA
  and at least 80 merits in order to try out.

• Flag football tryouts will begin on Monday, August 26th.
  7th grade tryouts will begin at 2:15 and end at 3:45. Tryouts will last for two days with a cut after day
  two. 6th graders are eligible to try out for 7th grade team.
  
• 8th grade tryouts will begin at 3:45 and end at 5:15. Tryouts will last for two days with a cut after day
  two.
  
• Once teams are chosen 7th grade will practice daily from 2:15 to 4:00. 8th grade will practice 3:00-4:45.
  This includes, minimum days and early release days.
  
• Games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 10th and ending October 10 th . Buses will
  transport students to away games, however, there is no return transportation.
  
• Game schedules will be distributed once they become available and teams are chosen.
  
• Cleats are not required for tryouts. If you have them, you can wear them. Once tryouts are completed and
  rosters are selected, cleats will be required.
  
• Students must complete an athletic packet with a current physical and have a 2.0 GPA and at least

• Girls volleyball tryouts will begin on Monday, August 26 th .
  
• 6th and 7th grade tryouts will begin at 2:15 and end at 3:45. Tryouts will last for two days with a
  possible third day if numbers are high.
  
• 8th grade tryouts will begin at 3:45 and end at 5:15. Tryouts will last for two days with a cut
  after day two.
  
• Once teams are chosen 7th grade will practice daily from 2:15-3:30. 8th grade will practice from
  3:30-4:45.
